This Animodule is inspired from the Narsingh incarnation of Hindu God Vishnu, where he adopted the head of a lion and body of a human to overcome the demon and establish dharma. The painting is in motifs of Mithila / Madhubani painting, folk art from India.

This Animodule is currently on display at the Animodules Exhibit at the Manes Center, Nassau County Museum of Art.

This is a sculpture and suitable for the outdoors.
