Belmont Runyon

Session 2

In our second session meeting with the students from Belmont Runyon, we introduced them to the lion design their Animodule would be in.

We continued by asking the students to come up with words that define themselves, their school, their community and their culture. These words would serve as inspiration for imagery used on the design of the lion Animodule as well as words used directly on the Animodule itself.

Students would suggest words and then we would all take a vote if we wanted to keep the word or not.

The chosen words:

Unique

Bold

Balance

Courage

Generosity

Cautious

Joyful

Faithful

Humorous

Loyal

Wisdom

Strength

Creativity

Passion

Once we had our list of words, we used them for research and brainstorming of image inspirations for the lion Animodule. We would discuss each word and search it up on the internet and we chose to save our favorite images. We created a digital moodboard collage of the images we collected.
