The “Go Green” After School Program begins with a homework period, during which time students work with teachers and interns on homework assignments.  Students with special problems are referred to interns for one on one attention.

This tutoring program has been very successful in teaching many of our students to read for the first time, and improving overall reading and math levels.  After homework, students are engaged in one of our arts activities including theatre arts, voice, dance and movement, visual arts, our “Hero’s Journey” creative writing program, and our “Trash to Treasures” recycled art programs. They work on these activities until leaving the program at 6:00 PM.
